Indian Salwar Kameez:
Salwar Kameez is the most popular and widely worn garment in India. This dress evolved in Kashmir and Punjab. It became popular in all regions of India. A variety of material is used for salwar kameez . These are available in an array of colors, styles and patterns -Silk, Satin, Khadi, Cotton, Khadi Silk. The sets are worn for work, casual wear and parties. These sets may have embroidery work in silk thread or a combination of bead work and zardosi, sequins, patch work, etc. The styles are in conservative styling as well as Indo western styles.

 

INDIAN SARI or SAREE:
The SARI is a piece of unstitched cloth styled in such a manner that perfects draper in a fascinating way to show her perfectly dressed, the apparel which suits for all the occasions or even in daily use.

To complete the SARI perfectly draped, a garment named petticoat is required to be worn under the SARI to hold the SARI placed properly on the portion from feet to waist on the body of a women. It is an integral part of SARI shaping like long skirt to be tightening either by string ( nara ) or elastic around the waist to keep the Sari hold on it.
